Ultra-Slim G9SB Safety Relay Units...

Omron's Ultra-Slim G9SBOmron's new G9SB safety relay units take up less width in control panels than comparable products. The 2-pole model measures 17.5 mm (down from 22.5 mm) and the 3-pole model measures 22.5 mm (down from 45 mm). All are designed to support safety Category 3 or 4 installations, so you can partner them with Omron's safety light curtains, safety door switches, and emergency stop pushbuttons for an integrated protection system. Read about features and benefits here, or download the G9SB .pdf.

Technical Tip...

Pressure drop, or flow loss in compressed air systems, are common problems we hear about regularly.

The following are factors that may contribute to the problem:

Addition of new equipment to the system that requires air to operate.
Improperly sized fittings, hoses, or airline distribution system.
Clogged airline filters.
Compressed air dryer freeze-up.
Air line freeze up (in cold weather).
Valves not operating properly.
Compressors undersized.
Regulators installed backwards.
Addition of venturi style vacuum pumps.
Timed drain valves sticking open.

If you need help in evaluating problems with your compressed air system, give us a call at (908) 464-4800 or visit our tech support page.
