Knotts is proud to be one of the finest Fluid Power distributors in the United States, representing approximately twenty major pneumatic, electronic and motion control, and pump and compressor manufacturers. We carry over a half million dollars in inventory and ship both from our stock and directly from our vendors.

The Knotts Company was founded in 1952 by Kenneth E. Knotts. It was subsequently purchased by Manuel R. Contreras, and then by John R. Groot in 1984.

In January 2004 Richard L. Howe, and George E. Mehaffey purchased the Company. Originally located in Cranford, New Jersey, the company was moved to a new building in Berkeley Heights in 1967. A large warehouse addition was put on in 1981 and the original building was totally renovated to become primarily office space.
